iRunway has been on a steady growth path over the last three years. We have had tremendous success in Texas, and have become a reputed name in the space of technical consulting in patent litigations. We are now looking to replicate our Texas success in the East Coast, which has become a hot-bed for patent monetization activity in the recent past.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can spearhead our sales and Business Development effort in the East Coast, and drive iRunway to the next phase of growth. As VP of sales, the candidate will build and own relationships with law firms, and corporations across North America, with an initial focus on the East Coast. The VP of sales will also provide direction and leadership to refine our business model to drive growth. We are looking for a candidate who can help propel our business to the next level.

Desired Skills

  • Understanding of the patent monetization space, with a particular focus on patent and/or technology related litigations
  • Experience in building deep customer relationships
  • 10+ years experience in the patent monetization space either as an expert, or a lawyer, or a consultant (broker), or an investor or a sales person
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills

Location: Austin, TX and flexibility to travel globally

Education: Bachelors and/ or Masters in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering

As a consultant, you will -
  • Work closely with the clients to articulate iRunway solution and scope an engagement
  • Work across multiple litigations and manage a team of associates
  • Consult with top litigators and experts on technology litigations and help them build the technical infringement/ non-infringement theory through the lifecycle of the lawsuit
  • Help the team analyze product, source code, tech. literature and other relevant artifacts to unearth evidence
  • Travel to client locations across US; work with a global team to execute an engagement and ensure seamless delivery
