Vinit Nijhawan is a Managing Director supporting iRunway’s IP commercialization program for universities and academic medical centers.
Vinit was Managing Director, Office of Technology Development at Boston University where he launched eight venture-backed spinoffs and successfully executed a patent monetization program. He has over 30 years of experience in building five start-ups, all of which were successfully acquired.
Vinit was also a venture partner with Key Venture Partners. He is a co-founder of EdTech Accelerator/Incubator LearnLaunch and President of Massachusetts Association of Technology Transfer Offices. He is also on the non-profit boards of the National Academy of Inventors and VentureCafe.
Vinit teaches MBA courses on entrepreneurship at BU Questrom School of Business, where over 400 students have attended his courses. He earned a B.A. Science in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
